4x4 Post Shields are designed to fit the standard 4x4 labeled post. The standard 4x4 post is 3.5" x 3.5". There are few exceptions so please measure your post to verify its size before purchasing. New treated posts are usually wet and swollen from the treatment process, but they will soon dry out and shrink to the 3.5" x 3.5" standard post size.
Post Shields, shield the base of posts such as mailboxes, fences, decks etc. They are 4 individual shields that join together to cover and protect existing or new posts from string trimmers and other lawn care equipment. They install in seconds with no tools necessary and their visually pleasing design adds a luxurious and finished look while saving time and money on unneeded maintenance.
You can now affordably protect your posts and maintain the beauty of your home with Post Shields. If your posts have already taken a beating, you can use Post Shields to cover and immediately stop further destruction
1 Post Shields order quantity provides protection for 1 post.

They helpful when I had to exchange size after my size error. Wonderful product and great company.
Our landscaper had been lacking the Daylights out of our post and making them look terrible. Post Shields was the answer, they went on quick and simple and look terrific!
This is such a good ideal. Easy to install & looks great.
Helps with weed eating since my weed eater eats everything in site. Now I don't have to worry about it eating my mailbox post.
I bought three 4x4x6 inch PostShields in white. They came quickly and were very easily installed; I did it myself. They look great and are so practical with respect to contact with the patio posts when mowing & weed-eating!
I bought 11 'clearance' shields and they look well made - no blemishes, discoloration, etc. These are just what I needed, but it's a tight fit - so tight I could only get 3 sides on each post. The last one was impossible to snap on, so I got it as close to the post as possible and hammered the last one in. Two are not flush all the way around, but it's ok, I'll live with that rather than the horrible look of what the weed eater does. Will see how well these stand up, hopefully a long, long time
